Hello! Hope you all had a great weekend, and are having an excellent Monday so far! Our weekend was SO good. My mom flew into Dallas for the weekend to visit, and we had such an amazing time catching up on some long overdue mother-daughter time.

We started the weekend with a brisk walk at White Rock Lake in Dallas. The weather was absolutely perfect – 60 degrees, breezy and sunny – a perfect fall day.

Then, we headed to White Rock Lake Coffee. If I lived closer to this place I think I would go there everyday – it is that good!

We also hit up Trader Joe’s, did some shopping in downtown Southlake, played with baby Samson, and cooked a delicious dinner with our Trader Joe’s purchases 🙂
It’s A Pumpkin Tree!
Sunday was super relaxing – we had breakfast in Grapevine, and spent some time exploring the shops and the downtown area. Then we just hung out, talked, played with Samson, and just relaxed the rest of the afternoon – it was amazing!

Although it was really sad to drop her off again at the airport on Sunday, it wasn’t so bad because I’ll get to see her, and the rest of my family, in just a few weeks! Makes saying goodbye a little bit easier at least.

So that was my weekend – hope you all had a great one too! Still can’t believe that it is already November. And that daylight savings time just happened, making it dark SUPER early. My internal clock still needs to adjust to that…I feel like it’s time for bed, but it’s only 7:30!
