Hello! Hope you guys are all having a great Labor Day Weekend so far! So…it’s been awhile since my last post. Yeah, sorry about that. I’ve been working really hard on finishing my e-book [which I’m hoping to release this fall], along with brainstorming ways to make this little blog exceptionally awesome.
I’m sure you’ve noticed a few changes since my last post – new banner, new categories, slightly different layout. Let me explain. You can still expect to see scriptural based devotionals [categorized in the Faith section], but I really wanted to branch out and start writing about other topics in addition to the devotionals. I want this to become more of a lifestyle blog from a Christian perspective. Kind of like a road map for living a Christian lifestyle within the confines of today’s crazy culture. I am by no means perfect at living life [obviously] and I am hoping that through this blog I’ll be able to share some of the things I’m going through, all while encouraging you in your own life.
Going forward you can expect to see:
– A weekly devotional post [something based on what I’ve been reading lately in my own quiet time with the Lord].
– A weekly life post, which might consist of anything from family, fashion and travel to life changes, body image and self-confidence. I’m hoping to include lots of topics here that will be relevant to you as you go about your daily lives. I’m going to try and be as transparent and honest as possible, so if you have any topic suggestions please, let me know!
– A weekly God Glimpse post. What is a God Glimpse? SO glad you asked! We live so fast, and often times find it hard to slow down and really appreciate the little things God is doing in our lives. That’s where the God Glimpse comes in. Basically, it’s an attempt to slow down and recognize something God is either doing in your life, the life of a friend or family member, or even something going on in our world today. God is always moving and working, and we have the opportunity to grow in our faith just by observing his movements in and around our lives.
– A health related post. This one is kind of new. I’m quite passionate about living a healthy lifestyle, and treating our bodies like the temples they are. I’m not a professional when it comes to diet in exercise by any stretch of the imagination, but I hope to share some of the things I’m currently learning about or experimenting with here in this section of the blog. You might find recipes, workout ideas, or self-confidence type posts here, but seeing as this is a new section, it might take me a little while to get into a regular posting routine.
Also, [RE]volution YOU is on Facebook! I’ve had a page for a while, but I’ve just revamped it and am ready to start utilizing it. If you’re looking for some daily encouragement pop on over to the Facebook Page for just that! And feel free to share it with your friends!
I know this blog has undergone multiple changes over the past few months, but I’m really looking forward to getting back into more regular blogging.
