Hello! Greetings from snowy Texas! Today is a snow day here in the DFW metroplex, which equals AWESOME! It’s been awhile since I’ve had a snow day…so today’s icy blizzard was a welcomed surprise ☺
Anyways, this morning I was reading in Proverbs, and came across this verse:
“Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”
– Proverbs 13:20
Really, it’s quite self-explanatory. That’s what I love about Proverbs – short, sweet and to the point. Surround yourself with wise people, and you will become wise as well; surround yourself with unwise people, and you will become less wise yourself. I’ve heard it said somewhere that we become like the five people we spend the most time with – and this verse from Proverbs backs up that statement.
Who you choose to surround yourself with is so important. Surround yourself with negative people, and there’s a good chance you’ll start thinking negatively as well. But, if you surround yourself with positive people, that positive mindset is going to rub off on you. Life is too short to be surrounded by negative people. If you want to accomplish your goals and dreams in life, find people who share your motivation and choose to spend time in their company. Likewise, be positive yourself, and you are going to be more likely to attract like-minded people to you.
Just something to think about – enjoy your Friday, and stay safe on the roads if you’re driving!

Thanks for the message. Seems obvious but maybe one of those things that we tend to overlook 8—)
